Perspective of Pinnochio’s Parent

November 27, 2021 by Russell Wardlow Leave a Comment

they wanna hear you rap bout how you kill yourselves
“look at how they kill themselves”
beefing just to kill yourself!
“no wonder they can’t help themselves,
Maybe we should help? lol! I kill myself!”
you should go kill yourself
I don’t think you’ll need no help
I won’t ask for seconds,
opinion,
I won’t help myself
cuz I don’t think I’ll be a help
you do bad all by yourself
now go ahead and help yourself
kill yourselves!

structural genocide
social suicide
systemical homicide
a culture plagiarized
institutional do, or die
economical plan B
education is jeopardized
indoctrination is insecticides
for protection from festering insects
infestation of pestering questions unrectified
opportunity now sectionalized
blending races with truthful lies
creating racists with truth in lies
who are you to hide?!
who are you inside?!
losing ‘you’ inside
you decide
either
choose generational pesticides
or a free will exercised
whichever one,
still, freedom is weaponized!
ahh!

I am the Day, I am the Definite-Carpe Diem

November 27, 2021 by Russell Wardlow Leave a Comment

I am the force
you’ve all of course
tried to thwart
though horrors enforced
you stay the course
aboard discord’s horse
you’ve been on since born
when reality was divorced
from the truth you first endorsed

now it’s intuition you sell short
and emotions you can never abort
throughout remorse or scorn
adorned from weathering weather through whatever
whether you wither, or
reason to reckon with
this living torch
which never dawns!

my day’s chosen weapon is excellence
emotions I pedal in motion
over impediments, with devotion
staying solidly grounded on sediment

my will-
the immortal portal
time-warping awoken readiness
reticent
of deficits
prefaced with
insurmountable prerequisites
that most would exit from

but I’m invested in
cultivating methods into messages
for wisdom and spiritual directions
by an ominous presence
and all-knowing specialist
encompassing all power
empowering me to release the tension suspending my mind drifts
through time shifts
embodying apprehensions and wretchedness
please,
permission for precision
and the prestige of provision
give me
visions- premonitions and intuitions I can visit until I get it!
then lift me!…into infinity and beyond swiftly
I’ve risen!
from second-guessing it
There’s no question that doubt only arrested development
Because I am, the Day, the Definite

Real-I-Ties(Realities)

November 27, 2021 by Russell Wardlow Leave a Comment

perspective is dubious
on one end
it is objective
emanating from lived experience
and on the other,
subjective
blossoming from preference
spawned from lived experience
in a way,
subjectivity is the progeny of objectivity

yet I proclaim!
it is neither just
objective
and subjective
it is also
Illusion
filled with objects of subjectivity
whence the pillars henceforth
are illusory
given reality
is what one believed it to be

therefore,
is it real-
concrete, static, predictable?
or temporary-
dynamic and
manipulated by chance and physical phenomena?
and what of eternity,
veiled beyond one’s senses?

the unseen forces
the chorus of music
and harmony of vibrations
singing at their various speeds
pontificating tangibles
and philosophizing intangibles
holding all things in Order
only asking Balance in return
from us All

although human hubris
rejects such capitulation
as our senses
offer too much authority
to the perceived
that the essence escaping our grasps

now the delusions we live, set in
and the Real I Tie myself to
called, “Realities”
so too do you
but whom is whose is who?
subjectively speaking
there is no objectivity
and subjectivity bears no absolutes
only objects
relative to one’s own experiences
and the perspective thenceforth

objectivity can only be that of nature’s law
guarding our illusive dominion-
the Real I’m Tied to
with You
Reality.

Hyperbole

November 27, 2021 by Russell Wardlow Leave a Comment

I’m a hostile hostage
pay homage
to the home of my homicide-
a homogenous hostel hosted by
honorless hypercritical hypocritical heathens of hierarchy

the harbingers of hate, horror, and hollow hearts

harm’s haven, no halo’s here

honing in on my housing, and its harassment of heirlooms:

heedless histrionics
hermetical heretics
hapless hedonistic hiatuses, yet hunger uninhibited
habitat of habitual hazing, hollering, and hate-filled hazards
horizons hindered and hidden
haughty hides, hybrids alike-Jekyl-Hydes
hoards of hoaxes
humor and hue holocausts
herculean hubris
high horses hobbled and humbled
hoodlums hoopla hooligans hopelessness hoodoo hustles hype and hoodwinks
heinous hypocrisies and hogwash
horrified herbivores amidst hungry hungry hippos
humiliation humility holism and holies with hypertension
inside this inhumane housing
hysterical heaps of hurt
shhhh, no Sherlock Holmes here
just holes, holds and heterogeneous hoods
upholstering honor-rolled heterodoxies-anarchy!
no Heroes here, only hours honing in on the horoscopes of homeless homies

Hide!

Help!

How Amazing My People Are

November 27, 2021 by Russell Wardlow Leave a Comment

this is how amazing my people are

despite living
because of economic
and systemic terrorism
my people still keep their player-isms

as the black man’s life is in peril
from prison industrial imperialism
while every day for a black woman
is unheralded heroism

and I try not to get too color-specific
when courting women’s characteristics
but this country makes my conscience guilty
if I decided to go on and date a white woman that didn’t get it

just pay attention
I’m not a color critic
this isn’t
an indictment against other genders

nor other colors and cultures
it’s just embracing the truth of mine
and giving it its due exposure
before my current life cycle is over
