Poetry and Prose by Russell Wardlow
control of
thoughts
emotions
devotion to
purpose
have in the ancestor’s ability to teach the truth
faith in ability to
assimilate the truth
and
wield the truth
freedom from resentment
under the experience of persecution
and
under the experience of wrong
cultivate ability to
discern between right and wrong
and
discern between the real and unreal
Let Maat be Free
peace, prosperity, health.
Hotep.(peace)
how can a body
stripped of spirit
at the mind
robbed of imagination
contemplate the abstract and absolute
and give the mighty wonders their due homage
when over rationalizing
has served to usurp the throne of knowledge
rubber ball
rubber ball
I rise up, as I fall
if thou shall throw me against any wall
fore thy hath the makings
to overcome any fall
bouncing back
woe,
to the wall whilst it ever wears
for thou shall breakthrough
and bounce back
everywhere hither and yonder
transcending my borders without ponder
bouncing throughout this whole free world of wonder
becoming stronger
and stronger
wisdom compassion
peace prosperity health
love light liberation
harmony balance synchronicity
wholeness holism
justice righteousness truth
knowing aware conscious
fore I Am
the chaos to order
the reorder to chaos
and the equilibrium of the renewed Way
if not now,
then in the now,
for ‘now’ is forever
and each moment,
I walk closer into eternity
navigating parallel to nature
discovering my nature
embodying the duality of reality
signs symbology
revealing the illusion
understanding the absolute
mastering the relative
surrendering to the truth
manifesting the word
becoming the light
physical
to
metaphysical
to
spiritual
I Am
-WayOfLife-
follow me.
find you.
You Are I Am
Oneness.
—
what does this say to you?
to proceed
to progress
we have to hurriedly,
process
because by death
is how we leap forth,
and accomplish
we have to die
to receive what we are promised
acting as if our death
is the promise for progress
like it is a preordained constant process
and to the breathless
or bullet riddled body
we say to the blood,
please proceed
because there is unwitting progress
you may achieve
experience is the best teacher indeed
but this is a lesson, that our youth didn’t need
if all you do
is choose for me
and then
when I choose for myself
you do not like the results
and you take my choice away
whose life is it I am living
mine,
or an extension
of yours?
then do not quibble
when I get out my body!
