I Am Powerful

September 1, 2021 by Russell Wardlow Leave a Comment

the power I have
is from, the power
I do not have
the power I do
not have, is from
the power I do
not choose, nor impose
excuse me
therefore, I am empowered
I Am powerful
this fact is not a fact
nor belief, nor has it form
it is a knowing
fueled by spirit
intuited by feel
abstract connections made
of things before me
I wheel circumstances
into driven conditions
sensation can not detail this
power, this sense, which
empowers us all once
understood

Mercy

September 1, 2021 by Russell Wardlow Leave a Comment

I have to learn to give mercy
even at times when
the lack of mercy
feels more convenient
and necessary
per animal inclinations
but the mercy I give
allows my spirit to give
otherwise I will become
more animal than human
instinctively desiring to
out animal the next
and my purpose goes beyond
chest-beating and pissing contests
I choose to live liberated
not in a perpetual state
of ”trying to survive”
in the image of a hamster
running inside of a wheel

Air Flow

just breathe
mindfully
too much wind
will make a tornado of earth
a hurricane of water
and drive a fire wild

Re-membered

September 1, 2021 by Russell Wardlow Leave a Comment

Remember?
Re-member.

your being, being
dismembered
so to memory, being
lost
who you are?
what you are?
how, you are?

Remember?

Re-member.

you are the individual, indivisible
you are the separated, inseparable
you are a part of a Divine Oneness-
creative consciousness, without form
form distracts
form subtracts
form is to interact
formlessness attracts
formlessness contracts Truth.
a universal whole
family of One
a sacred body of eternity
you are member of All things
and all things, member to you

Remember?

Re-member.

this is your sacred truth
every atom of creation, is a part of you

Remember?

Re-member.

you are not separate
although, you think separately
your thoughts become you

therefore, your speech separates

and you become, separated

but even this, is impossible
your belief, no matter how strong
can only misunderstand
what is and has been created
but can not change, Truth.

your separation is only illusion
lies you are told
the lies, you believe
are the lies, you live
but you are no liar
only mistaken, forgotten

Remember?

Re-member.

no belief, no matter how strong
can change you part to the whole
the infinite unseen and formless body
of God
only differentiated in flesh
your soul, has been created for all of time
your spirit is your eternal life force
it can not be recreated, nor perish
it is not yours
it belongs to the All

Remember who you are.
Re-member what you are.
Remember how you are.

Remember?
Re-member

Disposition

September 1, 2021 by Russell Wardlow Leave a Comment

I am happy
circumstantially,
I have no reason
to be.

as for, ‘to be’
universally,
I have every reason
to be.

some thing deeper
influences me
observations fall short
illustrating truth in me.

contrary the sagacity
of most erudites
some inscrutable thing
spawns light within me

simple words fail
empyreal, ethereality
surreal, outré?
ineffable? definitely.

from within I live out
shape shifting the perceived
external conditions merely teach
and fail to define me

Socio-Structural Derivatives

September 1, 2021 by Russell Wardlow Leave a Comment

there is
parity here
so much so
in that
it is
in all actuality
imparity.

we are
all treated
similar, in that
we are
all inmates
unequal- divided by
color.
