there is an intimate lesson,
in pizza. the dough must uhh
be open. Pliable, allowing itself to
be filled. Molding in such a way
that serves itself, and the other
equally. Then willingly changing
its soft nature, to a crust. Hardening
to keep everything within, in place,
and safe. The crust’s new role, is to
protect, not dominate. Nor imprison,
submitting to a higher balance of one-
ness. Now, the crust and the fillings,
complement one other. Indivisible by
make and name. Tested by fire.
Once complete, celebrating unity in their
new name–a metaphor for coming
together, as one. Never again being
separate. Because that would be their
unsavory undoing. Fore, their dynamic
is rooted in unity-a powerful formula in
service to all things. But All is lost, if
crust and its fillings, can no longer be
called…Pizza.
