Inundation by Separation

and the small print might say
to create a safe space
that justifies world, religious and cultural war
and hate
abstaining from judgment,
and damnation as fate
with land conquered and stolen,
now kept in place
absolution and repentance,
granted on one day
disconjoining secular life,
from the sacred way
as the practice of daily spirituality,
has lost its commonplace
